About the novel – Around the World in Eighty Days (Le tour du monde en quatre-vingts jours) is a novel of the French author Jules Verne, published for the first time in 1873. In this story, the Londoner Phileas Fogg and his French valet Passepartout attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days to win a bet of £ 20,000 signed with the companions of the Reform Club.

About the novel – “Dubliners” is a collection of 15 little stories of James Joyce, published for the first time in 1914. These stories were thought to provide a real portrait of irish middle-class people’s life in Dublin (and around Dublin) during the first years of the 20th century.
